I stepped off the plane from Atlanta not two hours ago and I'm already back in the shop answering messages and zhuzhing displays. I have so much to report back on about our time at the show...but I'm going to have to make you wait until tomorrow! I could stay here 'til midnight, really, but I know this is one of those moments I have to let the better half of me take over. What I really need right now is a hot bath, some comfort food, and a mental breather!
Two quickie teasers, though: we found some terrific new lines for the shop and I got to meet Sid Dickens!!! In person!!! Yes, he's real and he wears a beret. Come on. More on him tomorrow, photo included. (Yes, I had a groupie moment.)
All the juice in my next post, I promise.

I'm a Sid Dickens fan too. Did you get a sneak peak at the new season's memory blocks? Love them!
Hi, Denise--
I sure did get a peak at Sid's Spring debuts...two collections of them! I wrote a nice order, too. More about that tomorrow. :)

Do you still have any of the gold plated necklaces left? I really love them. Also, I am a former shop owner and would love to read your other blog.

Abbey, we are Sid Dickens fans! Oh my, a beret, kidding!! How fab! Looking forward to the next post! Jenn and Jacqui
Hi, La Bella Maison--
I'm not sure which gold plated necklaces you mean. Could you e-mail me at sales@theblissful.com and describe them in a little more detail? Did you see them in a photo on my blog?
Hope to hear from you. :)

A beret! I love it! Can't wait for the next post!
How are you Abby! Missed you, we are busy girls aren't we?! Sounds like the new year is going well for you!

Sid is actually wearing a newsboy cap. A beret is brimless.
Yes, Carol, you are correct. I did notice this when I uploaded the photo but didn't take the time to correct it at 11 PM! :)
I'm so glad I came across your blog! What a charming little shop you have! I live too far away to visit in person so I'll just have to play make believe by reading your very entertaining blog.
